Richard Brendon collaborates with Print Club London on new mug collection

Richard Brendon has collaborated with Print Club London to create a collection of artistic, colourful and witty bone china mugs. The range consists of 12 mugs by three exciting and talented graphic artists Margaux Carpentier, Max Machen and Rose Stallard.

The partnership pays homage to a somewhat forgotten historic tradition, where British ceramic brands would showcase the work of exceptionally talented emerging artists and bring their work to life in a new medium, resulting in fresh and unexpected products.

The mugs are skilfully hand crafted in Stoke-onTrent, where screen-printed artwork is applied to the bone china mugs and the rims are finished with a simple hand-painted line.

Richard Brendon and Print Club London are both London-founded brands, based in Notting Hill and Dalston, respectively. The brands have a natural connection through their joint love of screenprinting and its creative versatility, as the majority of Richard Brendon’s bone china collections use screenprinting to apply the intricate designs to ceramics.

Print Club London represents over 200 artists and provides them with a hub to create, showcase and sell their work, representing a diverse range of style. Together, the brands chose artists Margaux Carpentier, Max Machen and Rose Stallard, as their individual work translates beautifully to ceramics, but each artist’s mugs have a unique look and feel.

The collection will launch ahead of London Design Festival on 15th September 2023 at Print Club London’s annual ‘Blisters’ art exhibition.

The full collection will be available to purchase on richardbrendon. com, printclublondon.com and various retailers including Selfridges London, Harrods and Bloomingdales.
