HOTFORM began its long experience in 1976. Today it is one of the most prestigious companies in the field of thermoplastic moulding – such as PET, OPS, PP for the production of containers and packaging in the food industry.

As far as production is concerned, we offer both standard and customised items, tailored to the needs of the customer, thanks to a structure designed to comply with the parameters of the BRC – Global Standard for Food Safety – ready to respond in a precise and timely manner to the multiple requirements of today’s market.

Each schedule allows us to always have stock in our warehouse, a great advantage as it allows our customers to find the items they are looking for immediately available.

Over the years, we have successfully tested a set of systems and services that result in a finished product of the highest quality and, for those who wish, in customised items, designed and created to meet any need.

Today, HOTFORM is a company made up of almost one hundred professionals and approximately 17,000 square metres of premises divided into offices, workshop, warehouse, raw material storage, machinery and loading/unloading area. The desire to always be forward-looking, choosing cutting-edge technology, allows us to offer our customers only the best in food packaging production. A path that has also led us to seize the opportunities offered by Industry 4.0, with a view to the continuous development of production processes, making them ever more agile, fast and precise, concretely increasing product quality and further expanding our offer. Tight and precise scheduling also allows us to guarantee absolute adherence to delivery times, one of HOTFORM’s cornerstones, while the constant training of our specialised personnel ensures a high level of service.

In such a complex historical moment, we strongly believed in the importance of investing with determination and courage in new technologies and staff training. A winning choice that has allowed us to achieve a remarkable growth in company turnover, with a 20% increase in 2021.

The development of HOTFORM was also the result of the installation of two fully robotised packaging and labelling islands, a success both in terms of hygiene – there is no contact with operators – and product control, which guarantees very high standards of mechanical resistance, transparency and thickness. Labelling in two languages is also perfectly in line with commercial and legal traceability requirements and also facilitates transparency of information for the end consumer.


The circular economy is the only way forward for HOTFORM.

Increasingly sensitive to the need to respect and protect the environment, we have chosen to invest in renewable energies and contribute to reducing global consumption, following a path towards ever greater sustainability. Our primary objective is to reduce waste, which has allowed us to achieve an important result in our production cycle: all material is always reused, thanks to our PET extrusion process. This is an advantageous closed-loop system that, in addition to meeting internal production needs, creates a virtuous circle by using mainly production waste to obtain 100% recyclable PET.

This way of reusing resources allows us to achieve HOTFORM’s most ambitious goal: zero waste!

A further step is the construction of a major photovoltaic and trigeneration plant using biofuels, with a new cogeneration unit for the production of thermal and electrical energy, promoting the circular economy and allowing the company to implement an agile technological system made up of automation, information, connectivity and complete programming.
